    castro is 3-5 (all singles) with a SB. it's an extremely empty BA, but .301 is pretty good for a 19 year old at high A and he's at least showing good contact skills. hopefully he will pick up some power as he matures and magically develop patience too.

    i find it hard to believe that wrigley would get a negative review as a result of them soliciting people to write in with their worst experiences there, and then selecting the worst of the worst to put in their article.

    yeah i remember after the albert means business - their third major infraction in five years - reading articles saying that if bama wasn't a big name program they very well might have gotten the death penalty.

    i would've put nathan in right now. all he has to do is get lee out and the cubs are basically sunk.

    i have to agree, he's played well below expectations, he gets hurt every other game and he has played with his head up his ass most of the season. he's richly earned the boos he's getting.

    kosuke never hits against LHP, yet lou keeps leaving him in to face LOOGYs, who are in the game because of their proficiency in getting out LH batters. what the frick?

    hey lou since you don't let kosuke bat against LHP when they start, you should probably stop letting him bat against LOOGYs. just a thought.

    not that bad. the better question is, how bad is your team when your entire lineup is hitting like andres blanco?

    Eh can't use Marmol and Guz every inning. Give the kid a chance. Can't have two guys out of the pen we just won't use. plus it's two very good LH batters and waddell is our "loogy"

    have you been following this team? i'm overjoyed that they got a run in that situation.

    And this is new how? well when he's hot he doesn't do it as much. i guess it's just amazing that this has been going on for a month and a half now. from april 29 to now he's hitting .197 with a .257 OBP. not that everyone else isn't sucking either, but they need him with ARam hurt and instead he's going through probably the worst stretch of his career.
