  1. dan dierdorf is, as always, a [expletive] idiot. the colts go for it on 3rd and goal from the 4 with 7 seconds left, and he's kissing their ass saying that it was a really gutsy call and most teams can't do that because they don't have an amazing qb like peyton manning. the previous play took 3 seconds; almost every team in the nfl or college football will run a play there and either run a fade or quick slant. the qb throws if the play is there and throws it away if it's not.
  2. PSU is no, they'll win a game. they really should beat indiana this week, and could also beat northwestern and illinois at home.
  3. so that could be kurt warner's last play in his career? throwing an interception and then getting completely destroyed after the change of possession, in a playoff game where his team gets blown out? probably not the way he dreamed it would happen. edit - apparently he did not die after all.
  4. shayne graham and neil rackers might want to start getting their resumes ready.
  5. marlon byrd is pretty much the ideal #5 hitter, except for his inability to hit well.
  6. don't give up arizona, this guy can lead you to victory! http://images.bruinsnation.com/images/admin/matt1.jpg
  7. here's a nice photo of kevin: http://images.gaslampball.com/images/admin/kouz_kiss.jpg
  8. this game is over.
  9. we've got the ricketts
  10. that's probably why it worked, because the bartender probably figured there was no reason a guy in new york city would pretend to be a former oklahoma quarterback that nobody has heard of. that being said, i have no idea why you'd give josh heupel free drinks.
  11. penn state really sucks
  12. the funny thing is, they could probably not attend class and still get an A.
  13. 1. castro 2. vitters 3. cashner 4. jay jackson 5. brett jackson 6. hak-ju lee 7. chris carpenter 8. kyler burke 9. ryan flaherty 10. brooks raley
  14. i hope he's awesome again just like 2008.
  15. at least call him McLiar since it rhymes. McFraud is just stupid.
  16. not really, his wrist was broken in spring training of 1993 and he didn't hit for power after breaking that wrist. so he retired, it healed up better and he was able to drive the ball more after coming back. it's not like sandberg was going downhill for no reason; he hit 92 home runs in 3 years before hurting his wrist and then 14 the next 2 years. it's pretty obvious where the power went.
  17. i think a kid in my middle school had that. he collapsed during a game, i believe it was 7th grade... they were able to save his life but he suffered severe brain damage as a result of the accident (i guess oxygen stopped getting to his brain for too long of a time) and he was in a wheelchair and not much more than a vegetable for the next few years. haven't heard anything more about him since i graduated high school. i believe the condition he had is much more prevalent in blacks than whites, for whatever reason.
  18. Can any of those guys play RF? probably not, but dye can't either.
  19. considering that all but about 3 posts on this page are on my ignore list, i'm going to assume this was a completely worthless discussion.
  20. dodge pickup trucks cost 50 grand? better have a hot tub in the back or something.
  21. plus he's also much fatter now
  22. how many erroneous rumors have there been about tennessee's coach? i feel like twitter has named 10 different coaches.
  23. anyone else find it amusing that this is manbearcub's first post in about a month, and his last post was a joke in the chris henry thread? i think that has become his sole mission on this board, to post something dickish when someone dies.
  24. i'm pretty sure that dye will end up making more than he should, because some teams won't realize just how horrendous his defense is.
  25. The thing is, they really needed that when they went after him. This team was dull and without any offensive weapons. It just so happened that right after they acquired him all the talented young players started breaking out, thus immediately making his services less valuable to the team. yeah i agree with that, plus that was the offseason immediately after the passing of dollar bill. they really needed to make a big signing like that... campbell is a good player but the signing was as much symbolic as it was a sound hockey move. it showed blackhawk fans that rocky wirtz wouldn't be leading the team in the same way his dad did.
