i love how much he goofs on andy reid for being an awful coach. yes, he makes some poor clock management decisions and poor challenges. those are not the only things a head coach does. -

ucla somehow managed to allow 600 yards to arizona state despite knocking out their starting qb very early in the game.

a score that caught my eye was northern illinois 71, eastern michigan (which seems perpetually terrible at football) 3. a look at the box score - NIU rushed for 549 yards on 35 carries. 15.7 ypc. some guy named jordan lynch had 2 carries for 142 yards - an 81 yard td and a 61 yard td. another guy got 104 yards on 4 carries. then the third leading rusher had 2 carries for 91 yards, both td runs. that is some [expletive] bad run defense.

we beat the hell out of the wild in minnesota, 6-1. their only goal was scored off of our defenseman. even jody shelley scored a pretty goal, which is funny because he's terrible. +28 goal differential in 23 games now. don't think we'll be sneaking into the playoffs on the last day of the regular season again.

if you trade soto for trout you're trading one of the most productive catchers in baseball for a guy who has played one year of minor league ball. granted, he played really well, but plenty of guys have gone belly-up after raking in A-ball. and if you trade a really good established player for what turns out to be nothing, well, that is the sort of thing that gets GMs fired.

Same. We have looked so good and then I remember our schedule. @ ATL vs. SF @ DET @ NE vs. NYG vs. CHI (Can't wait to go to this game) that's not really that bad. they have two really hard games, two games that should be layups and then two games against pretty good teams that are both at home.
