well, yogi berra had a handful of at bats for the mets, so there's one, and it also rules out that those are the only four HOF'ers to do so. just a quick wander through the B-R tool shows that phil linz, marvelous marv throneberry and ricky ledee started out with the yankees and finished with the mets. darryl strawberry started with the mets and finished with the yankees. i'm sure there are others.

good luck to andy reid wherever he ends up. it's been a good ride in philly, but it's time to go in a different direction. been a long time since the eagles had a top 5 pick. hopefully they don't [expletive] it up.

i will defend the pick of gallery, because everyone saw him as a franchise OT. but the raiders have made some terrible picks that were panned by a lot of people at the time they were made.

i'm impressed. never would've thought of murphy, and didn't realize that maris had a second mvp-worthy season. pretty amazing that willie mays led the NL in WAR 10 times and only won MVP twice.

i dunno, but i've always been a big fan of him. nc state had mediocre talent and he led them to some very solid years. just seems like a talented guy who makes smart decisions and can create a little with his legs.

someone do some kyle math on this [expletive], because beep beep boop boop sanchez' 2012 was not better than wood's 2003. You might be confusing those with WAR numbers. That's FIP. Yes, and it ranks three of sanchez' seasons as being better than wood's 2003, which ranks his 266 strikeout 6.5 h/9 season as "above average" yeah i can't see how wood, with a better ERA, better WHIP, much better K rate in a more offensive era, in a more conducive hitter's park, could rank below sanchez on that list.

there's probably a dark horse. dodgers will sign him to 7/150 to pitch in albuquerque in case some of their starters suffer an injury.

Does Wisenhunt keep his job? i can't imagine he does. they've completely collapsed this year and their offense - despite whisenhunt being an offensive coach - is the worst in the nfl.

I know this is a joke but my mom asked me recently who Tim Brown's Heisman competition was in 1987 and I was shocked to see a Holy Cross player finished third. That's never happening again. i agree, no one is ever talking to their mom about who got third in he 87 heisman voting again. lol
