    i can't imagine that they're silly enough that they'd risk losing a first round pick next year or not signing bryant. if push came to shove and money is tight (and bryant refuses to go under slot), i assume they'd just not sign garner or wilson. makes way more sense to do that than to just throw away a first round pick.

    does the fact that he's arbitration-eligible next year make him more valuable? not sure what his price tag would inflate to as Arb3, but he'd still be a good bargain at $4m or whatever given his current production.

    boy kane county is stinking it up. almora is 0-3 with 2 strikeouts and candelario has made 3 errors.

    there really hasn't been much buzz about him. but a middle infielder with the 6th best OPS in a double-A league, at age 21, is pretty damn notable.

    if he just runs over the NWL, i'll be a little disappointed that he didn't play full season ball considering his reputation of being very polished.

    Ugh, why is that that if the most middling of big leaguers has a hang nail, it's plastered all over Twitter within 10 minutes, but in the minors, a top prospect can be pulled from a game and it can be days before we know why? Is this a rhetorical question or do you seriously not know the answer?

    was just having a look at arizona's roster. seems like neftali rosario has really stalled out - third year in the AZL. had some hopes for him after a solid start after being drafted. interesting pitchers seem to be alexander santana (19 years old), erick leal (18), anthony prieto (19), carlos rodriguez (17) - who am i missing? don't really know anything about daury torres, but his walk rate is insanely low (9 bb in 115 innings in 2 DSL seasons). would be nice if mark malave would show something, given his price tag.

    the good news: he's only 18! the better news: we got him for tony campana, who is terrible at baseball and hasn't even played in the major leagues this year! the best news: we actually got another legitimate prospect in the trade!

    i wanted to add tyler glasnow (pitcher on the pirates) but he isn't in the system, so i created him and put him on my minor league roster.

    westbrook's xFIP is like 2.5 runs higher than his ERA. i really hate the cardinals.

    courtney hawkins (white sox) has one of the more bizarre stat lines this year. .199/.263/.525/.788 the good news? 13 home runs in 39 games played. 11 walks is also acceptable. the bad news? 75 strikeouts in 39 games, or a whiff in 48.1% of his plate appearances. i get that he's young for high A ball, but holy hell.

    up 4 points with 2 free throws coming and 28 seconds left yes, that would be a choke a) yep you definitely don't know what a choke is b) they have like a 50% chance of winning Or 98.6%. you were close though. only missed by like 50%.

    You could see the seats empty in that last minute. It was pathetic. i like how that guy says that people are screaming that they spent a lot of money to go to that game. yes, a lot of money to go to an NBA finals game. that you left early.

    lucky jerks in their 3rd straight finals two straight bricked threes take crazy bounces right to the heat, leonard's free throw rims in and out but i guess you're one of those people who think it's cool to root for the heat because people dislike them it's called "pulling a kyle"
