Well predictably, the Chefs overcame that deficit and then some. They scored 6 runs in the second innings, thanks in large part to 6 walks by Joe Torres, who I've written about before in minor league discussions. Former #1 prospect of the Angels who has completely lost it. This is his stat line on the season after tonight... this literally may be the worst season I've ever seen from a professional pitcher: 1-8 (1-9 if he loses tonight), 18 G, 13 GS 43.2 IP, 61 H, 67 ER, 75 BB, 29 K... 13.81 ERA, 3.11 WHIP I feel bad for the guy at this point. It's pretty obvious he doesn't have it any more, and considering he's pitched only 43 innings and has started 13 games, the team practically has to have a second starter ready when he pitches.
