  1. man are they gonna call anything on their left tackle? the dude holds pretty blatantly every time trent cole tries the outside rush.
  2. Consistently making dumb plays? He only threw 2 picks and had 2 fumbles in 8 games, and his rating was a 95.8 this year. His dumb plays are pretty few and far between. I'm talking about things like throwing across his body near his own end zone against the Bears in overtime last year, throwing an illegal forward pass instead of running for the first down in this game, and the little shovel pass he attempted while being pressured in this game. Again, dumb plays. Not mistakes, just flat out dumb plays. The shovel pass was dumb? He got rid of the ball before taking a sack, and there were no Saints close to intercepting it. But the point is, if a guy makes mostly good plays and a few bad ones, the announcers are less likely to harp on his mistakes. It seemed like they gave Peyton Manning a free pass today too, because he could've easily had 5 passes intercepted.

  4. yeah i don't even remember what she looked like, it was just odd that fox showed her for like 5 seconds... last time i checked, that word isn't supposed to be said or seen on tv
  5. No comments about the woman in the "F*** THE EAGLES" t-shirt?
  6. I dunno if it's fair to call Peyton Manning a choker, but the volume of dumb throws that he makes in the playoffs is much greater than during the regular season. Off the back foot to double-covered Dallas Clark? Across the body and back against the grain, 30 yards downfield?
  7. The other guy called McNair overthrowing his man in the endzone "wisely throwing it into the crowd" as if he was saving the play. yeah that's dan dierdorf, he's awful
  8. peyton manning in the playoffs... catch the excitement
  9. I don't think he looks like that at all.
  10. First appearance of The Peyton Manning Face
  11. Wow, UNC has been a buzz saw since losing to Gonzaga, but they're down 20 to Virginia Tech in the second half. Somehow the Hokies lost to Marshall, W. Michigan and George Washington this year, but if they hang on, they'll have started out their ACC schedule 3-0 with wins over Wake, at Duke, and UNC.
  12. 2 words -- Bob Sanders 2 more words -- Ravens' offense
  13. "Playoffs??? Don't talk about the playoffs!" was our team name at team trivia last night... whenever the Bears season ends we're going to make our team name "The Bears are who we thought they were!" the next week.
  14. What have you been more excited about watching this weekend - NFL playoff games or the season premiere of "24"?
  15. Stellar offensive performance by New Hampshire today.
  16. refs probably let you guys back into the game
  17. More akin to a physical challenge, but that would at least net you $40 and control of the round. Imagine if they people had to grab the flag out of a urine trough? Marc Summers would still be washing his hands today.
  18. Well looks like Clemson is going to lose to Maryland... the Terps shot 63% from the field and 88% from the free throw line. Only took four threes in the game. Maryland's probably better than Clemson, records aside.
  19. Yeah he's scary good for a freshman. I really really really hope the Sixers get the #1 pick. Of course, Billy King could say "we've already got Samuel Dalembert, we don't need another big guy!"
  20. sounds like another big ten defense-first brickfest
  21. PSU played a lot of zone, taking away the inside game. IU took the right approach and burned them from three point range. Solid win for the Hoosiers. Any Big Ten road win is nice, and PSU is not going to beat some decent teams in Happy Valley this year. The progress this team has made under Sampson from November to now is very impressive. Fixed. Penn State blows.
  22. Do Indiana's players know that they're allowed to shoot the ball from inside the three-point arc?
  23. wooooo we beat bucknell last night!
  24. I had to vote $100 because the bill was a $20, and I didn't reach in and grab it. Probably part of that had to do with peeing into the trough and seeing other people pee into it. But in hindsight maybe I should just grabbed it, run it under the faucet for a little while, and then headed to the bar and spent it.
