    Well, it got to 3-1 before they decided to walk him intentionally. yeah but the three balls were in the dirt. To me it sure sounded like they were throwing trash and hoping he'd hack at it; when he didn't, they put him on. Hence "pitched around."

    This is starting to become a pet peeve of mine. By all means rip Marlins "fans" to shreds for not supporting a team that's winning a world series, rip Braves fans to shreds for not selling out playoff games, but really, what the hell do you want out of Pirates and Royals supporters? Continue giving the worst owners in baseball their money despite not even putting up an attempt to go .500? It sucks for Pirates and Royals fans, they've shown in the past to be great fans, but you can only be dumped on so many times before you say enough. Agreed. I'd have a hard time actively rooting for and supporting a team that had no chance of winning every year. Even the Cubs make the playoffs once a while. The Royals and Pirates are small market teams with lousy management, not exactly a formula for success.

    Love how the Cubs have to rotate in bullpen help because Hendry has three pieces of crap that he won't get rid of. Good teams are not run in this manner.

    I hope that is sarcasm there. Marshall had a bad game, so what? All pitchers are going to have rough days and all. It's what he do in his next start (as well as Rich Hill's) really matters. And IIRC, during today's game broadcast, didn't they mention that the Brewers are a solid hitting club aganist lefties than righties? yes, plenty of sarcasm. Prompted by the numerous people who jumped on Rich Hill yesterday for being mentally weak and for coming up small in the "biggest game in years"

    patterson has a single, double and triple... this needs to go into extras so he can go for the cycle! cedeno was just pitched around to load the bases... can't say i blame albuquerque for doing this.

    Before the homer my wife asked if i wanted to go out to eat. i said give me a while because i ate a crap load of ice cream and my stomach is bloated. after the homer i ran to fridge and grabbed a beer. my belly feels great! I liked this better the first time, when you grabbed a bear out of the fridge.
