  1. I can see, when taken out of context, how that can be seen as rubbing it in your faces. But it's certainly not. Someone made a comment about how LDT shouldnt have posed because he had a crappy day. I stated that he was essentially the entire offense today. Plus it was a big TD and he is generally known as not being a showoff; I don't think it was fair for people to criticize him for posing at the end of that play. One would think that I've earned enough credit here as a good poster not to have to walk on eggshells here to avoid being called a troll. Gates was essentially the offense except for one trick pass from LDT and a few small catches. I know LDT is your guy, but no need to give him more credit than he deserves. Yea and LT called out the Pats for posing after a playoff game TD, kinda hypocritical eh? wrong, he called them out for imitating the Merriman dance and celebrating at midfield on the chargers logo. Unless the Tomlinson was imitating a Bear or stomping on their grounds, it's not hypocritical. He never said he had a problem with celebrating a touchdown.
  2. yeah i thought that last year too
  3. aikman is generally a good announcer... now buck on the other hand...
  4. yeah the bears offense played pretty terribly today, but i guess the good side is that if you're going to crap the bed, might as well do it in a game that was going to be very hard to win either way.
  5. boy chargers fans should be embarrassed, you have one of the best teams in football and you're letting the other team fill up a third of your stadium.
  6. Haha, football players are so dumb. Although, I prefer the safety who celebrates after giving up a first down or a the receiver who celebrates after getting a first down while down big. At least this was a major TD. I remember watching an Arizona Cardinals game (don't ask why, i dunno) and someone decked a TE on a 30 yard pass, then got up and danced while the guy was pretty much unconscious on the field. Congratulations you gave up a big chunk of yardage, great work.
  7. that's not the reason... there have only been 6 penalties for 45 yards in the game; they're just not calling much of anything at all.
  8. first time watching an NFL game?

  10. i prefer those to the ones with the creepy burger king hanging out in someone's backyard with a silver platter of BK breakfast
  11. yeah since i have steven jackson in 3 of my fantasy leagues, it would be nice if he'd played like he was in that commercial
  12. I'm not sure but if that was directed at me thats certainly not why I was posting. I came to comment on a ridiculous call, or lack there of. period. i'm here talking about the game since it's the one that's on locally.
  13. tomlinson is more accurate than a lot of nfl quarterbacks
  14. i agree it was close, but I really don't buy this "it was close, that's why no flags were thrown" business. If it's borderline, you almost always see offsides assessed to the defense.
  15. apparently it's sometimes good to have your punter shank one
  16. Agreed, is there any question at all that these are the 2 best D's in the league? baltimore... possibly denver in the mix too
  17. No kidding. Look at that replay they just showed. It's not even close. I agree. But I will also say if I had a nickel for every time a neutral zone infraction isn't called I could probably buy a new damn car. It didn't deserve 30 minutes of whining from Rivers. Alter your cadence and quit crying. being as that play basically took away a go-ahead touchdown from the chargers, they have a good reason to be pissed. If that call had gone about the bears this game thread would've had pages upon pages of bears fans melting down.
  18. he should be... he's a very good coach who's been unlucky in the playoffs; norv turner is a bad coach who will probably find a way to not make the playoffs with a very talented roster
  19. No kidding. Look at that replay they just showed. It's not even close. whatever, it's too close to call. you guys just hate the bears.
  20. yup great job with the no call, it was great timing. wrong, i watched it on dvr, he's in the neutral zone before the ball is snapped its close and having to watch it on DVR just proves it, you cant blame the refs on that. By the way wtf happened to Philly? Not being an ass either, I just seen the score thats it. turnovers, some at really bad places on the field and at really bad times. The Packers aren't that bad though.
  21. yup great job with the no call, it was great timing. wrong, i watched it on dvr, he's in the neutral zone before the ball is snapped I watched it about a half dozen times in slow-mo and I don't know how you can tell. well i guess my two roommates and i are all blind then
  22. yup great job with the no call, it was great timing. wrong, i watched it on dvr, he's in the neutral zone before the ball is snapped
  23. how much does vasher get fined for that one?
  24. What about Harvard @ Holy Cross (1 pm)
