  1. i said kentucky was underrated this year and they showed that tonight. Rich Brooks has that team going in the right direction, no doubt about it. I knew they wouldn't get much press coming into the 2007 because they're kentucky football and they've sucked for a long time. But they remind me of Wake Forest last year - a senior-laden team with some good talent. I'm not saying they'll win the SEC -- Florida and LSU are just too strong -- but UK may finish 8-4. They have a pretty brutal schedule the rest of the way out though - LSU, Florida, Arkansas, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee.
  2. nothin wrong with that... i like watching the ladies play. They looked very strong against Sweden; a better all-around game than against Korea. 2-0 was the final and the U.S. team definitely carried the play throughout. If they can play that way for the remainder of the tourney, I'd expect them to win.
  3. does mulder throw with his left hand? yes, you say? cubs lose.
  4. i like players who can hit the ball far; i.e., not Slappy McRagarm
  5. how much of what he says does he actually believe? i'd say 10% tops.
  6. most importantly, holy cross finally beat that inferior school harvard on a 40-yard TD pass with 19 seconds left.
  7. fun game of the day - tulsa 55, byu 47 in a game with nearly 1300 yards of offense, and nearly 1000 of it through the air.
  8. It all comes down to Quade twice becoming the reincarnation of Wavin' Wendall. the first one was understandable, though with the bases juiced i'd prefer to keep them that way and hope for multiple runs in the inning than send a gimpy baserunner on a ball he's got a 50/50 chance of scoring on. The second one was just terrible though.
  9. me too... almost 2 for 2 in upset picks but arkansas blew it :x
  10. you haven't watched much football then Oh believe me, I watch alot of football. PI calls that occurs whenever the defender gives little or no contact to the receiver. Yet, there would be no PI on a defender hooks the receiver before the ball arrives to the receiver. it was a bad call but when i saw it live, i thought it was interference... it looked that way because the guy's arm was in against the defender. I thought he was being held but when they showed the reverse angle you could see he wasn't. It was a bad call in slow-mo but I can understand the call that was made.
  11. wtf, why an extra point there morans?
  12. you haven't watched much football then
  13. probably the last time you were drunk before this one
  14. that's why you need 3 TVs going at the same time
  15. that's exactly what i thought when i saw the play
  16. It was close, but when the ball beats the runner, 9 times out of 10, the umpire will call him out. well let's just change the rule so that when the ball beats the runner, he's out.
  17. was he safe? looked like he might've been.
  18. and how about the biggest game of the week - literally: http://graphics.fansonly.com/photos/schools/tol/sports/m-footbl/auto_action/295617.jpeg vs http://thefeed.blogs.com/photos/uncategorized/mangino_t450.jpg
  19. this UK-Louisville game is very fun.
  20. I'd love it more if Penn State wasn't going to Ann Arbor next week.
  21. lawl @ notre dame
  22. Cue Big 10 bashers. probably deserved... I know the CyHawk game is different, but Iowa state lost to kent state and northern iowa fog God's sakes.
