lol, it's true too... WHIP of 2, with 2 homers allowed and almost half his pitches were balls. And this is a good start for him too.

watch, trachsel will pitch one more scoreless inning after loading the bases, and the cubs will say "oh look he had a 3.60 ERA, starter 4 life steve trachsel!" even though his whip will be over 2

am i the only one who doesn't consider 6 games against cincy to be a good thing? The Reds are playing well these days, and they sure torpedoed our season in 2004.

yup it's true... .888 OPS with bases empty, .763 with runners on.

i have no idea if it's true, but it sure seems like soriano lots of bombs with the bases empty and makes lots of outs with men on base
