    Thats my understanding, and with Uncle Bud scheduled to retire from the post in 2012, why not now and potentially next year to go overslot to boost the farm with those young players with upside who are being paid well to forego college, just like all the first round talent that require huge signing bonus'. Go Cubs! (and go Cuns farm).

    Obviously kind of early, but with all the talk about how deep this draft was supposed to be, what is next year supposed to look like? Are there any without a doubt #1 type picks playing high school ball as a Junior? As far as I can tell, as of today the Cubs would have the 3rd pick in the draft next year, and not so far off from the first.

    If I had Dunn's career numbers at Wrigley, I'd want to be a Cub also. 217 ABs: .286/ .419/ .664/ 1.083. That's also all against Cubs pitching. I don't put too much stock into a guys career numbers at a road ballpark. Jeff Blauser

    This series has been awful to watch, as was most of the Baltimore series. Can we be done with Cedeno? Not that he is the only one at fault, but he just looks awful.
