Not sure that anyone cares, but ESPN Radio reporting that the Angels increased their offer to Paulie: 5 yrs and 60-some-odd mill. He will be visiting CA as a result.

I also heard on the radio that Baltimore offered 5 yrs, somewhere between 60 and 65.

Wow, big increase by the Angels. I wonder how high the Sox are willing to go. It's not gonna be that high, and I cannot see Konerko signing with the Sox for $10 mil less. Oh well, we will see what happens in time.

Hes sold.

The White sox won't get him back, especially when he see's California's weather in the winter time. :D

He lives in Scottsdale AZ in the Winter time and if signed with the Angels would still live in Scottsdale AZ in the Winter time.

I hope he goes. The Sox re-sign the Big Skirt, who then proceeds to get hurt in the season along with Thome forcing KW to sign Jurassic Carl again.

Then we'll see if Ozzie's small ball can carry that team.

What a difference a couple years makes. The Sox couldn't give Konerko away two years ago.

Ughh. If Konerko is going to be getting on average @12MM a season for the next five years, I can't imagine what Lee is going to be asking for.

That's why Hendry said he's going to do all he can to extend Lee before the start of the season.
