2 yr. or 3 yr. deal for Eyre?

...apparently, it was a 3 year deal after all but I found it interesting that there was so much confusion initially, over how many years he got. ESPN,WGN and CBS Sportsline was falsely reporting that it was a 2 year deal. Did anyone catch the Hendry interview on "GN" with Dan Roan?Sounded like the spiel to me.
