Twins GM Terry Ryan said he won't be trading Kyle Lohse to the Cubs in exchange for Corey Patterson.

Ryan also confirmed that Lohse would be tendered a contract. However, the right-hander is expected to remain available in trade talks. The Twins shouldn't be interested in paying him $3 million or more when both Scott Baker and Francisco Liriano look like upgrades. Nov. 15 - 12:07 am et

I'm not surprised to read that Kyle Lohse is on the trade block. For the monetary reason mentioned in Rotoworld, and because of Lohse damaging Gardenhire's office door with a baseball bat after being taken out of a September game.

For those who don't remember, he was ours originally. We traded Lohse along with pitcher Jason Ryan to the Twins for Rick Aguilera and Scott Downs, on May 21, 1999.
