Cubs Caravan Dates and Stops Announced

The Chicago Cubs today announced the 2006 Cubs Caravan will take place Wednesday, January 11-Thursday, January 12. The Caravan consists of two tours visiting a combined five cities, eight elementary schools, Chicago’s Northwestern Memorial Hospital and a local Chicago Park District community center.

 

The Caravan will feature Cubs manager Dusty Baker; vice president and general manager Jim Hendry; director of player development Oneri Fleita; Hall of Famers Billy Williams and Ryne Sandberg; coaches Gary Matthews and Larry Rothschild; and broadcasters Len Kasper, Pat Hughes and Bob Brenly. In addition, there will be three to four current players on each tour.
