What is weird is that he hit 12 home runs last year and 9 the year before that. If anything, you can say that he stopped taking steroids this year when the testing took into effect. That is until the play-offs started, when he must of resumed his steroid usage to get that extra edge. Do they test in the post-season? :-k

Scotty had the Corey/Dunston disease. He would hit a homer and then for weeks afterwards try to hit more home runs, causing him to do some nice flyball outs. Apparently this year was the first year the coaches finally got it through to him that he wasn't Barry Bonds.

Just so you know he said b4 the season started that the Brewers lineup was so bad he would try swinging for the fences to get the guaranteed run.

did he really say that? i hope so, because that's hilarious. it might be the most moronic thing ever. whenever he got a single, i guess he should've just kept running and gotten into rundowns or whatever and tried to score every time.

Totally! He could just hope some catcher pulled a michael-barrett so he could score!

If steroids helped him pull Lisa Dergen (they're engaged), then steroids should be legal.

I'm hope I'm not the only one that immediately opened a new tab to Google after reading this.
