For anyone familiar with the Orioles...

 

Has BJ Ryan ever expressed any interest in being a starting pitcher?

 

Do you think he could be successful in that role? Does he have that kind of stuff?

 

Would that be worth investigating?

 

If you could entice him to come here as a starter, you'd still be able to move him back to the bullpen if the experiment didn't work out (assuming the experiment didn't wind up "LaTroying" him).

Where do you people come up with this? Why move a very good closer/set up man to a position where, not only would we have no idea how he would perform, but we already have enough people to fill?
