Look out above (if you're Corey or Neifi)!

C. Patterson - 20 bb/418 pa = .048

N. Perez - 16 bb/509 pa = .031

J. Macias - 4 bb/136 pa = .029

M. Murton - 11 bb/84 pa = .130

R. Cedeno - 6 bb/85 pa = .070

On this same note, Michael Barrett should be recognized for improving both his bb/pa and bb/k ratios by a nice margin over last season. An all-around nice season for Barrett.

On a good note; the Reds throw two lefties (Milton and Keisler) in the final two games of this series. The way Patterson is playing, there is no reason for Murton not to be out there against Harang tomorrow night.

Barrett was also hitting in front of the pitcher more than half the year. That spot is always gonna draw lots of walks.

Barrett's offence is nice to have from the catcher's spot.

I would like to see him improve his defence. IMO, he's an average catcher, defencively speaking.
