Can someone tell me why????????(Corey Patterson)

Corey Patterson is so freaking bad???

 

I mean he hit .266 last year and .298 the year before.

 

I know many of you guys really hate Patterson but I don't think he is this bad but the numbers don't lie.

 

Could he be working about something that is causing him to concentrate on his swing which is making him struggle?

 

I for one hope this is the case.

A lot would argue that this year was bound to happen for him. He's never really been a fundamental hitter (i.e. swinging at the first pitch, chasing high balls, not settling in as a power or leadoff hitter). He's got plenty of talent, but I would say he's a mess of a ballplayer right now. He's got a lot to figure out before he starts to perform like he can.
