I'm not Ron, but here's some info in case you need it now. Ron will have the end of the season numbers, but here are the numbers on Greenberg in 2005 through September 2:

 

vs RHP:

 

AB/avg/HR/RBI/Slg/OBP/BB/K

 

203/.266/3/23/.404/.376/35/41

 

vs LHP:

 

AB/avg/HR/RBI/Slg/OBP/BB/K

 

89/.292/1/9/.449/.407/16/22

Here's more info on Greenberg through 9-2:

 

As leadoff: .229/9 BB/1 HR

 

With runners on base: .268/29 RBI/1 HR

 

With bases loaded: .333 (12 ABs)/8 RBI/0 HR

 

With RISP: .275/24 RBI/0 HR

 

With RISP and 2 outs: .270/14 RBI/0 HR

Thanks! Interesting, Greenberg doesn't seem to have much of a platoon split, although his numbers against LHP are a pretty small sample.

Are you high??? He's young and bats left handed so he can only hit right handed pitchers, it's a proven fact.

I'd be extremely interested in Matt Murton's platoon split with the Jaxx (and the Iowa Cubs too if you have that) if there's any way of anyone here coming by that data....

Nathan, that's magnificent, thanks, I really appreciate it.

 

Ron, you've seen Murton every day, and did you make anything of the way that Murton handled inside pitches from right-handed pitchers? The numbers that Nathan's provided there really don't suggest much of a problem at all in that department, but it's something that's been noticed by a few people in the limited time Murton has been in the majors...
