The 2000 Championship series was a great series, going to extra innings in the 5th game.

 

JACKSON, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Jaisen Randolph scored the game-winning run on an error in the bottom of the 10th inning as the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx captured the Southern League Championship with a 4-3 victory over the Jacksonville Suns. With one out in the 10th, Randolph drew his third walk of the game, stole second and scored on an error by third baseman Brian Rios. Randolph, who had two stolen bases in the game, scored his other run on a single by Franklin Font in the sixth inning, tying the score at 2-2. Mike Amrhein laced an RBI single in the second frame and tied the score at 3-3 with a run-scoring double in the ninth for West Tenn. Courtney Duncan (1-0) allowed a hit, struck out three and walked a batter in two scoreless innings for the win. Kurt Airoso's RBI single in the seventh inning supplied Jacksonville with a brief 3-2 lead. Kris Keller (0-1) surrendered two runs -- one earned -- and a hit, walking four, in 1 2/3 innings for the loss.

Maybe there was a change in schedule due to the fact that both divisional series were sweeps. I see on the website for the Suns that Game 1 is Tuesday. :-k

 

Yeah thats probably it because the series is starting on tuesday for sure.

The Djaxx web site also now says the series starts on Tuesday, with a travel day on Thursday.

Minor League Baseball has their SL Championship preview. Not only do they have JK slotted as their probable starter for Game 1, they also have the Suns picked to win the series in 4:
