I realize that we have a lot of teams to catch, and I realize that there have been enough optimistic threads lately (well, maybe not), but as horrible as we've been playing, 7 games back doesn't seem like that much to me.

 

As a sprots betting man, I would give the Cubs 100:1 odds of winning the Wild Card.

 

That's enough of a reason to watch the games eh???

Unless we can win 26-28 of our last 30, we don't have a chance. The depressing thing is that if we had played decent baseball since leaving Houston, we would still be in this thing.

Cubs are out of it. I'll be turning my attention to rooting for the Sox to lose. If the Cubs get back in, then I'll start watching the Cubs again this year.
