 That's something you don't see very often.

he was almost out, he thought the throw was going home and it didnt.

and the RBI record is 104...8 away from Harvey with 11 games left...and maybe an at-bat tonight...due up 5th in 8th

He's done it at least twice this year! I witnessed him do it about a month ago, it's quite a sight... they didn't even throw to third at all!!!

EGADS, 7-6 Chiefs, middle 8

Hyle makes his Peoria debut and gets 2 quick groundball outs then bleeds hits, the worst being a 3-R HR.

Teasley is sick with a middle ear infection.

Nice start for Weber:

7 innings, 2 r, 2er, 3bb, 4Ks, 96 pitches

Thanks! I have the broadcast on, but it's tough to keep up with all the info unless I'm actually at the computer. :)

Fuld doubles with 2 outs in the 8th -- he's 4-4 + a walk today

His average ---> .298

If he can wind up with a .300 average after the miserable start he had to the season, that would be quite the accomplishment!.

PLUS, Nathan mentioned earlier that he did the Q&A with Sam earlier today. :D

Eric Patterson Ks to end the inning.

7-6 Chiefs to the 9th, sounds like it will be Drew Dickson in for the save

Wow, the Jaxx get a DP on a sac bunt attempt! Two outs in the bottom of the 5th...

Sorry for missing the bottom of the 4th and top of the 5th, there was a lizard inside the house and I had to get it out.

Jaxx lead 4-2 after 5.

When it gets hot outside, the lizards try to sneak inside the cooler house.

In that case, I should have a house full of lizards.

I would complain if I were you.

The Braves tie it in the 6th with 2 runs on 3 singles. Marmol does K the side, though.

The heat index at the Rangers game today was over 100 degrees (I had enough since to go to work instead). A day game in Texas in August - what were they thinking?

Don't worry, I'm complaining to all who will listen.

Yeah, the Angels had to play one of those earlier this year in Arlington and all the players were complaining. That's brutal (and stupid). It was only 98 here today (dry heat too), but I hated it.

Matt Craig with a leadoff double. With one out, Montanez grounds out to the pitcher, they have Craig caught between second and third, but the pitcher threw it away and Craig got back to second safely. Montanez safe at first.

Where did Sing enter the lineup at?

Wasn't he playing left?

I have no clue where he is in the lineup, but he is indeed in LF.

And in other news, another lizard has forced entry into the house. :(

Pitch out and the Jaxx get Blanco trying to steal to end the bottom of the 8th. To the 9th we go, tied at 4.

Phew, I'm not losing it...

If there are all kinds of changes tomorrow like tonight I think I'll let Ron take over, ha ha

With the score still 4-4, Ray Serrano opens the bottom of the 9th inning with a triple off David Aardsma.

Serrano chooses NOT to try to score on an IF basehit by Joseph to Creighton (he would have easily scored thanks to the high hops on that hit).

Aardsma pumps 3 fastballs past Hernandez (the last of which hitting 94) for the first out.

Timmons getting an intentionally walked.

Groundball deflects off Aaron Sisk's glove, allowing Serrano to score the winning run. Jaxx lose 5-4. :(
