Is there any way to find out which teams ground out into the most double plays?

Yes. ESPN.com

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/stats/aggregate?statType=batting&group=8&seasonType=2&type=type3&sort=GIDPs&split=0&season=2005

Cubs are only 8th in the NL, believe it or not.

The Cubs don't get nearly enough men on base to lead the league in double plays. I would bet that the Cubs rank near the top of the league in GIDP per man on first base, which we could fairly accurately calculate by:

GIDP/(Singles + BB + HBP)

Obviously, this wouldn't give us an exact number, but it would be a good rough estimate.

I agree. Those teams that are grounding into a lot of DP's may also be getting on base more.
