Links to "response" posts?

This was a feature that I actually liked on cubs.com. I think that for the most part, the quoting system we have here works, but there are times when I'm interested in seeing the entire post(s) that was responded to, not just the "snipped" portion. It's kind of difficult sometimes to hunt down that one post in a mega-multi-page thread!

 

Would this be possible to have those links available? I was thinking it would work best if the link were live on the username right above the snipped portion: [link]KatJ wrote:[/link]

Unfortunately, I haven't seen this as an option in phpbb.
