These Cubs don't just lose games...they lose games BRILLIANTLY.

 

I mean, I'd be more upset if we were losing 1 run games each and every night, or leading up to the 8th or 9th and implode. But what these guys are doing is BRILLIANT. Just getting the holy crap kicked out of you day in and day out. To lose better than we are right now, you would have to actually THROW THE FREAKING GAME.

 

I mean, we don't take a 1-1 game to the 9th and have the other team knock in the winning run with two outs...we WALK TWO BLEEPING RUNS HOME AND ALLOW 7 RUNS IN AN INNING!

 

Not only do we do that, we manage to lose a game 8 to 1 while OUTHITTING THE OPPOSITION. Hell if Cincy needs hits, we give them TEN FREAKING WALKS.

 

Oh well, I guess i'm just the type that, if I know I'm going to die in a carwreck, give me the clusterbomb that makes the evening news over the light tap that freakishly kills you with whiplash... :lol:
