Dear Dusty,

Why Dusty Why?

Why won't you remove your head from your rectum and realize that LRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLR is not the gospel of baseball.

PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PUT RAMIREZ BEHIND LEE. PLEASE.

I know people think you are stupid, myself included, but you CAN'T be THIS stupid after seeing Lee get intentionally walked left and right lately.

Love,

Badger.

P.S. Please don't tell me you know what you are doing.

Oh, you're not going to want to read this Dusty gem:

"I put Walk sixth because I needed a bat behind Aramis Ramirez so they don't just pitch around him," Baker said. "I didn't want to put two lefties back-to-back."

Can someone post 100 of those head running into walls smileys? That's how I feel when I read the diahrrea that comes out of Dusty's mouth.

Dusty's probably thinking about benching Lee. After all, all those walks are clogging up the bases.

Thank you, I made the same comments in the game thread. Pitchers are not scared of Burnitz, but they are scared of ARam. This change will minimize Lee's walks.

I wish a reporter would ask him about this, and be persistent when he gives his stupid LRLR answer.

Bruce Miles? Please?

It could be conceivable that he just doesn't even think about it and needs it brought to his attention.

That's kind of a sad comment right there..., I mean, really, this guy is supposed to be the manager.

Wow...., just plain wow. I'm with you.

Maybe it's to force a manager into a decision late in the game. In a close game do you bring in a lefty to face Burnitz and use him for just one batter or do you let Burnitz face a righty and take the heat if Burnitz comes through? I highly doubt a big league pitcher is "afraid" of facing anybody on any roster in baseball. I would assume that every pitcher has the confidence to get an out.

I recall Dusty saying a few weeks back on radio pregame that he had thought about hittig ARam behind Lee in response to Santo.

Right now I would rather book Burnitz than have to pitch to ARam. Next week it might be different, but right now ARam is mashing.

DougD is right when he says that it can force a manager into L/R matchup decisions. But a good manager has already thought out those situations in advance, and unless he has just one lefty in the pen available it goes back to my second statement.

To be honest I dont think Dusty anticipates the game well. He reacts more so than anticipating matchups and where my biggest dissatisfaction lies.
