... I don't know yet, won't be able to answer that question until I get home from work tonight in 7-8+ hours (and if the Cubd didn't make a trade before the deadline).

 

But if I find out we didn't make any deals and then find out later we could have made decent deals, but didn't, to get a bigtime player... I'm gonna beyond pi$$ed!

I'm relatively sure that they've learned their lesson and won't trade Matt Lawton for Todd Wellmeyer.

 

I wouldn't be so sure about that. There is no way Littlefield shows up for work on Monday or Tuesday with Lawton still on his roster. Lawton also has quite a bit of money owed to him for the remainder of this year.

 

I'd bet Wellemeyer would be enough. As would Jody Gerut.

 

I'll expect that ice cream cake shipped Fed Ex in dry ice. :wink:

I also believe you should include a cherry pie to go with it, since Welly is still a Cub.
