I would personally be surprised if he played 2 weeks, making stops at all 3 levels. My line of thought is that he will play in Peoria and then play Saturday and Sunday (possibly Friday) in West Tennessee. The Jaxx and Cubs are off on Monday, August 1, which would give him a day to rejoin the team and make it back on the date that the team hoped he would return by. Of course the West Tennessee part is pure speculation, but Bruce Miles and Dusty Baker have acknowledged their desire for Nomar to move up a level before rejoining the Cubs.

What I meant was that Bruce reported that teh Cubs plan for Nomar to move up a level in the system before rejoining the team, something that I was told that Dusty acknowledged himself Sunday night.
