West Tenn (game 2): no clue, it's Marshall's turn but he's on the DL

I just called to check but no information to provide on the starter for Game 2. I'm sure Ron will let us know during the broadcast of Game 1.

Montanez tries to make a diving catch and the ball goes under his glove and reaches the wall for a leadoff triple. The runner makes it home on a grounder to make it 1-0 after the top of the first.

The Smokies came out swinging, swinging at all but 4 pitches (ball in the dirt, ball outside, two pitches taken for strikes)

In the pre-game show, Oneiri Fleita told Ron Felix Pie should be back in about 7 days. It sounds like he also mentioned something about Gooz (time to e-mail Ron!). I wish I had heard the pregame show, rather than searching for my MIA keys.

That's definitely great news considering the other report in regards to Pie. I missed the pregame as well (lunch run)

Haha, O'Malley struck out a guy who was trying to swing at a pitch while getting away from it at the same time.

That happened last night as well. He tried to turn to keep from getting hit on a ball coming towards the chin and the first base ump rung up hte batter on the appeal.

Yay! Ron replied to my e-mail!

Angel is throwing in Mesa and throwing very well ("back to his normal self"). The main goal is for Angel to throw in the AFL, but he should get some action somewhere this summer too (Ron: "hopefully for our team").

According to Ron, Angel Guzman is the most dominating pitcher he has ever seen at AA.

Casey Kopitzke goes to RF for a single - the Jaxx first baserunner. Ryan O'Malley follows with a sac bunt. Dwaine Bacon now up with two outs.

Bacon strikes out. :( To the 4th, Tennessee leads 2-0.
