Alright, Cubs fans, who's coming to Busch this weekend?

I stayed in the seats, but the rest of the family didn't. All but my wife left in the fifth. Addison only lasted 1.5 innings in the seats.

 

Vance, are you going to be there tonight? I would absolutely love to meet Addison after seeing her pictures here.

 

I'll be there, but Addison will be staying with her grandma tonight. She didn't take the heat well yesterday...and we're flying back to Louisiana at 7:30 Monday morning, so she needs to be well rested.

My entire group didn't sit in our seats after the 3rd inning. We just stood in the tunnel where it was nice and shady with a cool breeze. And it's not like it impacted our view... cause we had horrible seats anyways.

 

Who was it that said (about Busch Stadium) after the 196something All Star Game "It sure hold the heat well."?

 

The new Busch III looks nice. Especially with the open concourses where you'll be able to see through to the field. Hopefully the airflow will be better with the open design.

I was at Saturday's game...My seat was in the shade the whole game! (Still hotter than hell!) Had upper deck seats...traded them in for 200 section tickets down the right field line. 8)

 

One cool thing about this past weekend...I stayed at the Casino Queen across the river and spotted Kerry Wood, Mike Remlinger, Greg Maddux, Ryan Dempster all playing blackjack. No body approached them while playing and basically left them alone which was pretty cool. Was playing carribean stud and Maddux walked by then came back and watched us play a few hands...was awesome! 8)
