Have we not learnt the golden rule of baseball?

If your team has a guy who has all the tools in the world, but can't put it together, if your team trades him, he will put it together and you'll kick yourself FOREVER. If your team doesn't trade him, he will never put it together you'll kick yourself FOREVER.

Just think what Farnsworth would have done to the Marlins if he were still on the team when Greenberg was beaned!

I'm thinking he would've brought a chair in from the dugout and wacked the guy on the head, then spraypainted "FARNS" on his chest while he was knocked out.

No, no...seems to me that's just the golden rule of the Cubs

Let's get this straight, it was not a tackle but a double leg take down, for two points. You can tell Farns was a HS wrestler.

you are absolutly right on this. He has pretty good form on his double leg, and had a very nice mid-level finish on Wilson (spear) but had a high level finish (body slam on his most recent. Also if he was going for free style he may have gotten 3 or more points for a more impressive take down.

Sorry Im a former wrestler who likes to see wrestling in professional sports, too bad i have to find it on a ball diamond!

The move "DDT" got it's name from a rather infamous pesticide that had the nasty habit of killing birds, other wildlife, and the occasional human being.

The alternate definition was supplied by the infamous Jake "The Snake" Roberts, and that is "the end"

Although what Farnsy did there wasn't a DDT, if I had to call it as a wrestling move, i'd call it as a reverse bulldog (seeing as Affedlt landed on his stomach, not his back) :D

Well, since Pro wrestling is make believe and I'm an ex college wrestler, I figured I'd put in my expertise as to what happened. Farns shot a double leg, but didn't really have much balance. Affledt used what is called a wizzer to stay on top of farns and kept his legs back. If that scrum hadn't ensued, farns might have been in some trouble...sussecptable to a choke or some blows to the head...but as big of a meat head as he is, I'm sure he would have just shrugged it off.
