that have a lot of raw baseball data? I have been reading some baseball blogs, and just general articles online, and I'd like to find out where these individuals are getting this data from which to develop their own particular statistics/theories.

Thanks,

Thanks for the links.

Those are quality sites, and I have them bookmarked. The only one I have yet to test out is retrosheet, and it looks promising.

BP is by far my favorite, but I can't seem to find all the statistics they mention in the Statistics part of their site or in their glossary. It is as if they only offer a few of them. So, I was thinking I could figure out how these are calculated, and calculate them myself.

There's no beating retrosheet if you're looking for raw data. As far as I know, they're the only source for freely available PBP data.

If you're just looking for seasonal stats in format that's easy to work with, the Lahman database is a great way to go.

I saw a bunch of people at Wrigley on Friday wearing these shirts. I picked one up for $10. It's a funny shirt.

Welcome to the forum!

That being said, what does that site have to do with raw baseball data? :-k

Nothing at all. Goldsjo, I'd PM this to you, but members do not receive PM's until after a certain number of posts. And your three on the same topic, advertising for the same website, and linking to Sammy shirts for sale don't cut it. I'm going to delete these out of place advertising posts. I hope I don't see any more of them.

This is this guy's third post (out of three total) exactly like this in two different threads. I really don't like advertisers. Am I within my rights to request that this fool be banned?

I've deleted two of the three posts, warned him, and if it continues his tenure at NSBB will be mighty short.
