Dang, that would have been a slick DP if Lee had come up with that one - tough play though as he was moving off the base, just saying it would have been pretty cool to see.

I think the question needs to be asked:

Is the American league really this much better than the National league? Because it seems our boys don't have a chance to beat the AL right from the get-go. The NL looks *terrible*, year in & year out.

Yah, for whatever reason the AL just has had much better offenses the past few years, their pitching has been good enough and the NL pitching has been somewhat sucky - all together it means AL wins and NL losses

And with Bud's brilliant new "system", that means no NL team has a prayer in hell of ever having home field advantage in the World Series.

That's a complete joke!

And wasn't there that rumor last year that the reason Clemens gave up 6 first inning runs was that Piazza was tipping off the AL hitters?

Hehe - I hadn't heard that, but I do remember that as much as I wanted the NL to win last year it was hilarious seeing Roger getting clocked!!

Wood should either be A) Traded, or B) moved to the bullpen after a few good starts.

Don't make me hunt you down. Seriously, all I'd have to do is jump on I-94 and come and find you. :P

He was there most games, until a random implosion that would doom him in about half his starts.

Darn, I was really hoping Clement could face Lee or Ramirez. Dodged another bullet did he. I guess the World Series is our next best chance ;)

Where was this Clement last year?!

Dunno. He played for some team that starts with a "C".

I think it's a city on a lake.....or something like that. I'm probably way off ;)

What would happen if a catcher was heavily rumored to be going to a contending team in the other league. what would stop him from tipping pitches in order to give his potential new team a leg up
