How come they change official scoring for the All-Star game, shouldn't Clement have been the winning pitcher since he was the pitcher of record when it became an official game after 5 innings??

I bought my first Honda with 83,000 miles on it and sold it, still in good shape, with 119,000. My current Honda (a CRV) I bought with 6 miles on it and it now has 34,560 and runs like it's brand new.

How come they change official scoring for the All-Star game, shouldn't Clement have been the winning pitcher since he was the pitcher of record when it became an official game after 5 innings??

 

I believe there is an exception in the five inning rule that allows the scorer to award the win to the starter if it's determined before the game that he will leave the game before five innings.

i don't even drive a "ricer", i just hate that word describing the cars they make...it's more of a racial slur than anything else...i have a volkswagen, and will probably never drive anything else
