I know it's a little late for this: Cubs July 4th Memories

Last year the Cubs swept the Sox on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball. I remember a bases loaded walk for Todd Walker. And then the next day the Cubs went up to Milwaukee and lost 1-0.

 

The last time the Cubs spent the 4th in Atlanta was 2002 and the Cubs lost 5-1 and the next day Don Baylor got fired.

He won't be, but that was some good times. I think I literally danced when Baylor got the can.

i can't even imagine how elated i'd be if dusty suffered the same fate.

I'd like to see Leyland come out of retirement to coach the Cubs, he's always been good at handling a pitching staff. Pipe dream, probably.
