Craig "Bad" Counsell, Good Manager?

Cubs were on a roll and had a chance to catch the Brewers by Monday.

Deep rested bullpen.  Gausman was pitching great but was out of gas and threw 80 pitches after 4 innings. Nobody warming up, he gives up a run, Nobody warming up, gives up 2 more runs, Nobody warming up, gives up 6 runs, game over, team deflated.  Box score shows 6 runs charged to Gausman who pitched a great  game and should have been out after 4 innings or 1 earned run.  Bad C. can't manage a bullpen and costs Cubs 5-10 wins/year. Crap like this starts losing streaks.  Makes you wonder if Bad C. is just a tool, and a 16 year old analytics kid tells him what to do.

I will say that CC did pull Gausman too late in his last start.
