When the Cubs singed these two guys in the winter, I thought Boyd could be good, if healthy, and didn't expect much from Kelly.  Man, I was wrong.

With Amaya missing so many games this year, the Cubs could've been really bad without Carson.  And, he was simply amazing offensively in the first couple of months, too.  BTW, I really miss Amaya.  He started hitting better late last year, and he was good, until he injured.  And, I don't even want to think about his 2nd injury.  That was just sad moment.  Hopefully, he'll come back in a few weeks.

Then, we lost Steele early in the season.  Without Boyd (pitching well and staying healthy) and Horton, it could've been really bad.  Shota missed 6 or 7 weeks, too.

I really appreciated their efforts.

And, Thielbar is another one.  His our 2nd best reliever, and honestly, I didn't expect much, when he joined the team.  I think he's having the best season in his career, and he's not young.
