North Side Baseball polls

This is a new feature we're rolling out this year to allow fans to give their opinions on the Cubs. The page is still being developed but the basics are there.

We will add and remove questions as situations change with the team. And you can vote on the same question once per day so your vote is not locked in for an entire season.

Check it out and vote so we can start testing the back-end and make sure everything is functional!

i noticed that at the bottom of the page yesterday and couldn't tell if it was new, or if I was just that un-observant for two years.

Can we have some random polls included as well?  Maybe for something, like, if Sublime or Rockapella are the more musically gifted/respected group?

Why do the poll results always reset? They're kind of an annoying addition in their current state.

It's to have a rolling average of long-term questions. As we flesh out this feature, you'll see more articles using them to get a read on fans' perceptions of the Cubs.

For example, a mid-June article might reference fans being really high on Counsell in April but souring in May as the team slides. Or being really low on Matt Shaw today but really high on him in June. That sort of thing. It's intentionally capturing the same people voting over a long period of time.
