The payroll was extremely small and they had a desperate need for starting pitching. What is the confusion?

 

 

I guess I was expecting scott feldmans and Ian Stewarts, I dunno. People who were clearly signed to be dealt at the deadline. I guess its possible that we plan to flip him this deadline or next. Its just a higher quality of FA than I thought we’d be considering

It's the same crap: keep your head down, the real issues start with bringing stuff up, play some kind of multi-generational long game, maybe even it's that you're actually not that good, etc etc

There is not much Stroman can do about the racists, but there is a lot the Mets could do to make sure that horsefeathers gets squashed when it happens. I'm sure the MAGA Cubs owners and the geriatric all White Cubs ushers will be better at curbing the racism.
