Preciado goes hitless, but draws a walk and scores.

Felix Stevens hits his 1st HR of the season and 7th as a pro. He's definitely got some pop. He turns 22 at the end of this month.

All 3 IFA pitchers threw strikes today. 7 Ks, 1 BB. Yovanny Cabrera started. 6'2", 180. He's 20 and won't turn 21 until next March. Based on his stats, I'd be interested to see what kind of stuff he has. In the DSL as an 18-year-old, he was really tough to hit (.156 BAA) but walked a lot of guys (32 in 41.2 IP) while also striking more than a batter an inning (48 in 41.2 IP). That statistical profile usually means good "stuff". The fact that he's, thus far, remained tough to hit in the ACL (.167 BAA), but has, thus far, only walked 1 batter while striking out 7 in 5 innings is a good, early sign. Definitely want to learn more about Cabrera.

Ezequiel Pagan should be back up in Myrtle Beach if he keeps hitting like this. He's got a HR and a triple in 2 ACL games.

Continuing with his up and down season, he's been pretty bad over his last 4 starts, Ryan Jensen is up again. He's perfect thru 6 on 77 pitches. He's likely done for the day, but this is a 7-inning game so we'll see...

Haven't done the research for this, but it *feels* like he's had one bad inning disease. I wonder if that means he has trouble from the stretch, or if it means he has trouble making adjustments mid inning.

Looking at Jensen's line, the only real problem has been HRs. Everything else is either great or OK.

I know there's been at least one start like that (feels like more). I'll do some digging and see exactly how often that's happened. It's also happened a bit for other prospects like Sanders and one very memorable one for Herz, so we might be conflating those performances in with Jensen's. I'll check.
