Overall, our fanbase as a whole is pretty terrible. We're not as pretentious as others but there's a lot of embarrassment.

eh. counterpoint to that would be every fanbase is terrible to some degree.

 

a couple of fights caught on cellphones the past week or so (one at the cell) doesn't really move the needle much for me. my last two times watching the cubs live were in atlanta. one time was awesome and I spent the night talking baseball and life with a sweet old man and the other I was harassed by a bunch of drunk college bros with bama bangs who absolutely wanted to start a fight with somebody. i can only assume they did at a strip club later that evening.
