Anyway for this to begin a 90s/early 2000s pirates stretch of under .500 baseball for the cards and have this series be the beginning of that stretch?

 

I'd honestly prefer them being a .500 team for all of eternity. Always in denial about their team's mediocrity, believing they are 1 move away from contention. Never bad enough to get a high 1st rounder. It's what they deserve.
