Will be at South Bend game tonight, if I see Sands before the game I'll politely ask him to start throwing strikes.

If this works, we're going to have to reevaluate the minor league coaching staff.

Rucker at Myrtle Beach once they started stretching him out:

56.1 IP, 1.74 ERA, 39 H, 60/11 K/BB, 3 HR

I'm lovin' this guy.

He's on another one of those runs of not walking guys- 1BB in his last 22IP, not to mention only 9H.

In his 10K game, he hit 97 mph and was at 94/95 mph all night.

Great control with a + fastball... Giddy-up!

No Albertos again. His start was skipped, as Camargo went the day after him the last time through the rotation. Held out due to imminent trade? Put on your tin foil hats, people.

It's more likely he has another minor injury but I don't want to go there.

I'm not sure if it matters, but Sands wasn't all over the place. Most of the stuff he missed with was just off the plate. Only like one real good hit against him and a couple of ground balls that should have been turned into outs.

Peredes first at bat smacked it up the middle pitcher stabbed at it and the ball ricocheted off his glove right to the 2nd baseman for the ground out, 2nd at bat a real nice opposite field double down the right field line, 3rd at bat long fly out to right center field a couple of feet from the wall, and 4th at bat broken bat fielder's choice to the 3rd baseman

Erich Uelmen and Keegan Thompson has been added to the Eugene roster.

Every time I see this guys name I think Erlich Bachman and since he's a pitcher this gif is fitting
