That dude who was bitching about this wasn't from the area, right? Because that would be hilarious if it was the same guy

 

I mean I guess he could've just called himself evanstonian for fun (the actual guy suing isn't from the area, however)

evanstonian was not from the area, and he was looking to collect info on others that went through similar issue, class action style

My favorite part was evanstonian complaining about how much money he sunk into the team while they were bad and how he was entitled to now recoup off of that, when he probably made like $100 million on World Series tickets.

I love the idea that tickets are an investment instead of tickets to a baseball game.

I don't even mind that so much, with the caveat that you are right: they are just tickets to a game. But if someone sees them as an investment, then whatever. It's just... spare me the indignation when you admittedly made a ton of money on World Series tickets. In that case, you've certainly been made whole.
