Isnt it fairly hard to tear an MCL in a non contact injury as well. Especially without tearing your ACL.

You are a percentage guy. Just know that the chances of tearing an MCL and being out a full year is like almost zero.

 

He will be back in two months if that's what it is.

Isnt it fairly hard to tear an MCL in a non contact injury as well. Especially without tearing your ACL.

 

Agreed. That to me is why when an MCL injury is serious its associated with an ACL, too.

Knees seem to be 50 50 sprain vs tear. Hope its the sprain. Ive seen bad knee pops come back mcl sprains. Hell there was hope schwarbers knee was just a sprain & its looked like it got ran through over by a semi.

It is technically. But in sports descriptions a sprained acl or mcl can be weeks to a couple months.. a torn acl or mcl pushes close to and sometimes more than a year of lost time.
