Compare the hauls

I would love to hear your thoughts comparing the haul of prospects the Yankees got for Miller when compared to the haul for Chapman.

The Indians package was probably better. Frazier seems to rank higher than Torres. While he's closer to big league ready, Torres is likely the better overall asset. Sheffield is better than McKinney, at least going by 2016, but who knows. I really don't know much about the other 2 in the Yankees package, other than that they're a 23 and 24 year old AA and AAA relievers with solid numbers. Crawford was fairly well regarded, but so are/were a lot of low level prospects. And Adam Warren's Adam Warren.

 

So I guess that it's hard to gauge which haul was better. But what's more important is that Miller came with an extra season. That doesn't mean that we got shafted, it means that we paid a premium to buy before the market had fully formed.
