South Bend facing a decent pitching prospect in Nix and they scored 4 runs over the first two. Jimenez doubled in one of those runs. Jimenez tripled in the 4th. No one has stuck out or walked.

I believe he was thrown out at the plate trying to turn the triple into a inside the park HR.

BA:
Preston Morrison, rhp, Cubs. Morrison, the four-year starter at TCU drafted in the eighth round a year ago, extended his scoreless streak to 28 1/3 innings Wednesday with seven shutout innings against low Class A Fort Wayne (Padres) in South Bend’s 12-2 win. Morrison is not overpowering with a fastball that sits 85-86 mph and can touch upper 80s, but his sweepy slider was working well Wednesday. He has the kind of polish that baffles young hitters, but it remains to be seen how he’ll fare against more advanced pro competition.
