Heyward has an easy hit for every at bat...Just bunt past the pitcher to left field...big hole in left field...

work with hitting coach...have the opponents remove the defensive shift...

I'm glad you didn't suggest this to Rizzo while he was batting like .150 but had a .900 OPS.

I'm all for a guy who has little power trying to bunt for a hit. Especially if Fowler is on base ahead of him. this isn't a Rizzo or Ortiz type player, Heywards value comes from getting on base not hitting for power. I do think bunting is harder than it looks, but if he can do it he should it.

He's hitting and getting on base, he's just not hitting for power, which makes sense with the wrist injury.
